Vocareum Join Forces with GCRC, AWS, NIH and Cornell at the Global COVID-19 Relieft Coalition Hackaton 2020
Vocareum virtual lab platform provide teams with managed access to AWS-sponsored services and in-kind credits

April 16, 2020/PR Newswire/ – Vocareum, an education technology software company, today announced that the company is making their virtual lab environments available to the Global COVID-19 Relief Coalition (GCRC) Hackathon (https://hackathon.gogcrc.org/), led by scientists and entrepreneurs at Cornell University, Stanford University Healthcare Innovation Lab, and RoundGlass, and in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The Global COVID-19 Relief Coalition is a federally approved 501 c 3 public charity and is a project of The Giving Back Fund. The GCRC Hackathon is crowdsourcing solutions from people globally in an effort to help develop and deploy technology that could help address the novel coronavirus pandemic and mitigate its effects. Through this collaborative effort, Vocareum and GCRC will be offering hackathon teams with support and technology to prototype, test, and implement their solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. AWS is funding this activity with $180,000 towards in-kind credits.

Vocareum’s platform streamlines the management of teams, distribution of AWS accounts, and managing of the AWS credits that power idea from hackathon teams.
